Dr. Disha Kriplani Mittal is a board-certified Pediatrician and Pediatric Critical Care specialist with over a decade of experience managing complex, high-acuity patients. As Chief Medical Officer at VerityMD Neurology Clinic, she brings a deeply people-first, patient-centered approach to both medicine and leadership — one grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right.

Dr. Mittal's training spans some of the most respected institutions in the country, including her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital and nearly a decade as a Pediatric Intensivist at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento. Throughout her career, she has championed quality improvement, led neurocritical care development, and played an active role in educating the next generation of physicians and nurses.

Now expanding her clinical role into outpatient neurology, Dr. Mittal works collaboratively alongside board-certified neurologist Dr. Manoj Mittal, focusing on dementia care, chronic migraine, and general neurology follow-up. She combines warmth with high clinical standards, believing that great medicine is not just about systems and workflows — it is about creating an environment where patients feel cared for, families feel supported, and every person feels truly seen and heard.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mittal enjoys dancing, hiking, running, cooking, and reading. A multilingual physician fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Sindhi, she brings genuine human connection to every patient relationship — and that, more than anything, defines the kind of physician and leader she is.

Saw Dr. Mittal and during the first visit he was able to order a few tests that helped diagnose my issue. During the appointment he spent a good amount of time with me and made me feel heard.
