Hand numbness, tingling, night symptoms, pain, weakness, and dropping objects are common reasons for neurology referral. Symptoms may be caused by carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, cervical radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, or other nerve problems.
VerityMD Neurology evaluates nerve compression and entrapment neuropathies using clinical examination and EMG/NCV testing when appropriate.

Identifies whether symptoms come from wrist, elbow, neck, or generalized neuropathy
Guides testing and treatment planning
EMG/NCV can confirm and grade nerve compression.
How this helps:
Confirms carpal tunnel syndrome
Assesses severity
Evaluates ulnar neuropathy
Distinguishes hand nerve compression from cervical radiculopathy
Treatment depends on severity, weakness, function, and patient goals.
How this helps:
Reviews bracing and ergonomic strategies
Supports therapy planning
Identifies when surgical evaluation may be appropriate
